Social Work Ecommerce

Social Work Ecommerce

Today is one of the biggest milestones of my life, the day I release my first physical product to the world for sale.

There is a lot of fear stepping out into a world of ecommerce which is not my bread and butter. I have been on a learning rollercoaster this past year, trying a whole lot of new things.

I am a social worker, I help families get material aid, budget, increase school engagement, reduce family conflict, learn problem solving and conflict resolution strategies. I make tools and resources for families to use so they lead the change and can continue the conversations and change in their every day life.

Now, I have a tool that parents don't need to print out, or teachers staying up in their own time to laminate for their calming corners. I bring you a resource you can literally have posted to your door, for your child/children to enjoy, practice their breathing, learn how to pronounce names of dinosaurs, and experience co-regulation with you as you learn to do it together.

You are your child's role model, showing them how to manage emotions, how to work through big feelings, how to pause before reacting and take some breathes when feeling anxious before giving something hard a go.

These cards can be your alley and support along the way, something both your child and you can keep going back to. Many families have two homes, these cards can be a resource the child takes to both homes, a resource both parents can implement and create a predictable and expected rhythm for your child between transitioning to the different homes.

Cheers,

Claire
