What resources I am putting in my school holiday activity packs

So it’s nearly school holidays,

These are the resources I am putting in my school holiday activity packs for families.

Here we go...

1. Some breathing cards

Why? Being at home with your family can be stressful but school holidays can also be a perfect time for a young person to put some mindfulness breathing into practice and figure out if it helps them during their day.

You can shop different ones of these, my personal fav at the moment are these “12 Mindfulness Breathing Cards (Digital Download)- Tea Party Edition

This is our most popular breathing cards.

2. SELF CARE DURING THE HOLIDAYS PACK, it's also $0 in store always. I love this pack, it has colouring in pages, provides ideas and information about things like sleep, drinking water, getting sun. All good things for human beings and their wellbeing. It also has a fun recipe for cooking and activity pages to make a memory book. Remembering helps us process both challenging and positive events/situations we have experienced and can also boost our mood with feelings of love and gratitude.

3. I give this card pack out pretty often, it's the ‘Free or Cheap FAMILY ACTIVITY CARDS’. With 28 ideas on the cards, there are plenty of options that promote family connection, bonding, attachment, promote positive memory making, and can be a great opportunity to do an activity that connects with a young person’s love language. This pack can also help with social skills, taking turns to pick an activity to try as well as conflict resolution when it becomes challenging when people have different ideas or are disappointed.

Enjoy the next couple of weeks!

I am looking forward to a break on the second week of school holidays and a road trip.

Cheers,

Claire
